Carpaccio - that’s us!

The Carpaccio Concert Association is a group of young musicians from South Tyrol. We have made it our task of performing early music works in order to bring them closer to the audience and to ourselves. Our focus is on serious rehearsals and concerts as well as on the fun and joy of making music together.

It all began in 2015 with the idea of founding a youth orchestra. Without further delay, musician friends and colleagues were contacted and the first project was organised. Since then, numerous projects have taken place under Lorenz's leadership. In the meantime, several members are studying at music colleges and conservatories in Basel, Bolzano, Innsbruck, Lucerne, Salzburg and Vienna.

The instrumentation of Carpaccio varies depending on the project, from a small ensemble to a larger chamber orchestra with choir and vocal soloists. Performers are members of the association as well as other participants. Among them are amateurs, students, and professional musicians.
